The Lobster Pot
Ultra-fresh local seafood definitely leads the way, on the crowd-pleasing menu. Head Chef Anna brings enthusiasm and skill to the kitchen, crafting dishes with harmonious flavours alongside her talented team. Carefully prepared recipes makes sure there’s plenty of choice for everyone.– unsurprisingly though, since opening they have become very well received for their fish dishes…..
The extremely pretty traditional style pub/restaurant occupies the ground-floor space – incorporating the restaurant, Front Bar, Parlour – The business partners have ambitious plans to offer overhead accommodation very soon (these two guys strike you as two gentlemen accustomed to making things happen) – Now, once inside you would be forgiven for thinking the name stems from a “Lobster Pot”, because once you go in you can’t get out. It has nooks and crannies, cosy snugs, character and characters! – and most importantly heading into the winter months – it feels incredibly cosy. The venue also utilises an outdoor area which is situated directly opposite the restaurant
Already a hit with reviewers “Probably the best fish and chips I have ever had.” another said “The owners are the perfect hosts, their hands on approach, personality and charm made our evening just perfect” Restaurant Critic, Lucinda O’Sullivan said “a whirlwind of fun, food and laughter” Overall a stunning setting – this is one eatery you won’t want to miss out on.
