Cafolla’s Take-Away

Cafolla’s Take-Away has been an intuition of Wexford food scene for over 60 years, first under the Marini family and, since 2008, it has been in the hands of current owners George and Mariana. Originally known as Stamps, the eatery came with a little piece history—the rissole recipe, passed down from Mrs. Stamp herself. The rissole to this day remains one of the standout’s on Cafolla’s menu, bringing in locals and visitors alike to sample a Wexford staple. “It is still one of our most popular items” says George. This family-run business has become famed for serving some of the best chips in the region, George credits this success to their use of only the freshest potatoes. Their menu also features truly authentic pasta dishes, including classics like arrabbiata and spaghetti bolognese.
