Nori
For over two years, Nori, Wexford’s first Japanese restaurant, has been offering something different to the town. Just before Christmas, Haron Zain (head chef and now owner) took over the reins, introducing a new menu while retaining all the best loved dishes.
Haron, with 15 years of experience, has crafted a new fusion menu that delivers a bold variety of dishes: including Tebasaki—crispy, unbreaded chicken wings tossed in a sweet-spicy soy glaze—and the Hirata Spice Bag, his take on everyone’s favourite ‘Spice Bag’. A family recipe for Karaage chicken, while classics like ramen, bento boxes, Tokyo Twist Rainbow Roll, duck yaki soba, and fluffy hirata buns are available on this new tempting menu….
The service is smooth, with a friendly front-of-house team of four, always cheerful and welcoming. Led by manager Kaitlyn and her sister Cora, they make sure everything runs seamlessly with a smile.
Overall a great offering for Wexford – Visitors can expect delicious plates, expertly crafted sushi, and a vibrant atmosphere that’s perfect for casual dining or late-night gatherings.
